Budgeted at a whopping US$ 25 million (or Rs 1 Billion), SRK is all set to make India’s costliest movie. The movie is a fantasy based subject which will have lot’s of CGI and VFX.

It will be produced by Shahrukh’s home production, Red Chillies Entertainment, and directed by Anubhav Sinha of Tere Bin and Dus fame.

I hope the movie is a good one and lives up to the hype.

Ok, I know I was supposed to go, but I couldn’t help dropping a couple of lines on SRK (Shah Rukh Khan) and his new movie Chak De India.

Well the promos have taken off a week ago and I just managed to catch a glimpse and I must admit one thing. Shahrukh is looking good there. He is indeed playing a part based on Kurt Russell’s part in Miracle as I had reported earlier. Shahrukh is playing Kabir Khan, a veteran hockey coach who has a reputation of turning things around for anybody or any team.

Well looks like we have something interesting on our hands. Let’s wait and watch. The promos are great, though.

BTW, I just heard the Walt Disney Pictures is extremely interested in collaborating with our Baadshah on Red Chillies Entertainment. Some executives from WDP met the King Khan in London while he was on vacation there. Reportedly, Walt Disney Pictures wants to invest in Shahrukh’s production company with an initial investment of about US$ 2 million in the first phase.
