When I was on vacation in India, I had the opportunity to take some pics of the historic Jama Masjid (Grand Mosque) in Delhi and also some great moments of this great city. I have posted some of the pics from the trip on my photo blog.

While going through my pictures, I came across this photo of delicious & inviting mangoes. So, thought of sharing it with you all. Tell me what do you think of the mangoes! The mangoes shown here are Indian but I am not sure which variety. If I do, I’ll add that up in this post. If anyone of you knows anything, please drop a line in this post’s comments. Would love to have your feedback.

Here’s a great article I found on Beauty’s 80 Bloom blog that is displaying rare pictures of the King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan! You have to see the pics to believe that this is really Shahrukh. Plus, you get to see Shahrukh’s parents in the pictures.

I have recently updated my photos blog, TrendySnaps (After quite sometime) with some new pics and hope to keep doing it more regularly.

I have also associated the blog, which is hosted on Blogger, with a sub-domain on fiqbal.com.

It can now be accessed on TrendySnaps.fiqbal.com.

I will keep uploading new pics there by email, which I think is a marvelous way to post to your blog. I wonder if WordPress has this feature or not? Does anybody know anything about this? If you do, please feel free to drop a few lines which shed as to how I can apply the same with my blog!

Lucknow's Iconic Rumi Darwaza

A great snap uploaded by my friend, Faraz Ali, on his photogallery that shows the famous iconic Rumi Darwaza (A grand gateway) monument in our home town of Lucknow. Known for it’s great food and hospitality and the royal treatment meted out to visitors, Lucknow has a host of great monuments built by grand rulers of the historic province of Awadh, called Nawabs. The Nawabs built monuments which are part of the national heritage of India now.
