Finally, I managed to get myself a brand new iPod Touch 3G, 32GB version! Great thing. But the moment I purchased it, I have been thinking of installing all kinds of stuff on it. Already my music library has been transferred to it. Over 5 Gigs of Indian & English Songs. Plus, apps for Y! Messenger, Skype, Fring, Twitter and Facebook!

My iPod checklist for the days to come:

• Jailbreak
• Install more and more apps
• Configure Mail accounts
• Load my contacts
• More social apps
• Lot’s of games!
• Plus much more exploring to be done

Looks like my path’s cut out. iPod touch was something I had been looking forward to adding to my list of gadgets! Finally, iGot iPod. iPhone can wait until the time I can test all the functionalities of the iPhone OS and compare the same with Nokia’s Symbian OS s60 v5 which is running great on my Nokia N97 Mini.

Comparisons are inevitable. But all that can wait until later. I would be posting comparisons as soon as I am aware of the differences between the two softwares. And, see what all the fuss is about.

In the meatime, I need people to help me jailbreak my iPod touch with OS 3.1.3 installed (yea, I have been googling all day). Any suggestions guys?

I couldn’t believe it myself! The fact that Music Videos could be made up to a whopping US$ 13 Million is above my level of understanding. In India, you could make a whole movie in all that moolah! Anyway, I came across this list while I was reading about the BSB or the Backstreet Boys on Wikipedia and to my amusement found that their video, “Larger Than Life“, stood at #5 on the list of the Most Expensive Music Videos Ever Made. So, it looks like Bachchan junior is really going places. Abhishek recently recorded a rap song with Wyclef Jean. Reportedly, it is Wyclef himself who asked for Abhishek to sing the Hindi lyrics of the song which is a Hollywood-Bollywood tribute song for Hindi Cinema and Bachchan Senior.

The song was recorded by Aadesh Srivastav and Wyclef in Miami. Wyclef Jean came to Miami from New York especially to record the song with Abhishek Bachchan who is shooting in Miami for Karan Johar’s Dostana.

Ok, guys and gals. This one is for those of you who wanted to set some cool song/music as your “Ring Back Tone” or “Caller Tune” as we in India know it. Actually an interesting thing happened today. I had setup (finally!) a caller tune on my Mobily number here in Saudi Arabia with a cool new song from the Shahrukh Khan movie, Om Shanti Om.

Anyway, after I set it today, my fiancée called me and found out that I had set a caller tune (for her sake of course!) and then she decided to set up one on her own mobile number (from Airtel) and then called the Hello Tunes number that the Customer Care exec. gave to her.

A great album by Sonu Nigam, Jaan. It consist of great songs and excellent performance by Sonu. This song “Tera Milna Pal Do Pal Ka” is the title track. It is one of my favorite all-time Sonu tracks. Sonu at his best. Watch the video of Tera Milna at YouTube and Enjoy!

Britney Spears is going to give us a brand new Album (Thank God for that!) to think about rather than all of us to be focusing on her personal life. Britney’s new Album is called ‘Blackout‘ which also includes the HIT single, ‘Gimme More‘. Notice how I have captialized HIT. This means we fans don’t care what she’s been put through in her personal life. She’s pretty much the same Britney that we have loved over the years ever since her debut in 1999.

I know I do.
