Well, it’s been a whole month and a half ever since I last enjoyed some time off. It’s gruelling schedule as the project I am working on needs to be closed and there are issues which pop up every time I try to close the pending things in the project.

Today was no different than what I have been experiencing ever since my Eid holidays ended about 35 days back!

Since our team was not able to deliver the requested updates on time (this Saturday), the IT manager at the client’s office sent an email which was really uncalled for. I don’t know what purpose it served for anybody but it did make me very angry. I had to call up my manager and speak with him. I was so piss*d that I had drafted a reply for that and due to the pursuasion of my manager, I aborted.

Finally, I met up with the man in question and put the things to him straight. So, at the end of the day, most of the things were sorted and will continue on till tomorrow.

As for other things, my reservation is now confirmed. I am leaving on my vacation to India next month. This will be the first time that I will be visiting India on annual vacation from my current company. I have taken the time around Eid for my vacation as it would buy me some additional eid holidays which I can spend with my family in India.

I have had a hectic but good time with this company up until now. People are nice and good. Of course, I did have occasional differences with some of the colleagues but all that was sorted out since all of us are working for a common purpose. That purpose would be the betterment and success of our company.

So, there you go. Now you know what’s been happening since the past few weeks. I do intend to post a couple of lines occassionally.
