Widely believed to be the successors to the extremely popular N73 and the music oriented N81, Nokia has unveiled the N79 and the N85 phones.
MobileBurn got it’s first look at the Nokia N79:
The Nokia N79 features innovative smart Xpress-On covers, which are user-changeable colored housings.
[...]
The Nokia N79 is well connected, with quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and dual-band UMTS (900/2100MHz) support, partnered with WiFi for lightning-fast local data transfers. Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP is also available, as is a built-in GPS receiver. The Nokia N79 should be available in Q3 2008, with pricing set at Euro(€) 350 (US$521) before taxes and subsidies.
AllAboutSymbian.com got it’s hands on N85 and had pretty nice things to say:
The N85 boasts the usual impressive Nseries specification list: 5 megapixel camera (with dual LED flash and lens cover), integrated GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, FM transmitter and TV-out.
[...]
The N85 is Nokia’s smallest dual-slider Nseries handset so far and offers a number of key technological advancements. [...]The N85 looks set to follow in the footsteps of the N73 and N95 as an iconic handset for Nseries.
The N85 will be available from October at a price of Euro(€) 450 (US$ 662).
Also there’s a report that says Nokia is all set to launch a whole new line of touchscreen phones right from the low-end to the high-end for the Indian market with the iPhone killer device in the works, currently codenamed Tube.
So, the things are just getting warmed up. I am waiting with my fingers crossed for the new phones even as I learn to live with the fact that I have actually got an N82 and can actually work with WiFi even without my laptop from work!

Very interesting post. Nokia N85 is the best mobile in this price range and it is much better in comparison to its rivals.
