WordPress Upgrade Woes

Well, I must say one thing. Whenever there is a security release from WordPress, we are given the whole installation to upgrade our blog. So, when I was prompted by WordPress to upgrade to 2.3.2 from my previous 2.3.1, I went ahead and downloaded it. But unfortunately for me, while I was uploading the files via FTP to my server, there was an error while transferring and during this time the connection was broken and so the transfer was interrupted. I tried many times to upload again but all in vain.
Anyway, when it didn’t work, I got busy and forgot to upload the new version which was interrupted while being uploaded resulting half new and half (or whatever) old files.
I wonder why WordPress doesn’t have any simpler method to upgrade to any minor releases rather than do a complete upgrade as if you areĀ upgrading to a major version?
Well, that is a question that may never even be answered I guess? Or will it be answered? Only time will tell. But for me, it has created enough problems for me.
